I have some really pretty magazine pictures cut out, and some gorgeous pictures of Paris from a calendar. Which should I use and how should I decorate it?

You could use Mod Podge and decoupage either the magazine pictures or the calendar pages. (The calendar pages might be easier to use since they’ll be probably be on heavier paper and less likely to wrinkle than the magazine pages.)
Here’s some tips on using the Mod Podge:http://www.plaidonline.com/faqSearchResults.asp?keywords=decoupage

you could decoupoge the magazine pictures on. or, you could find a cute, simple design you like and using carbon paper trace to transfer and then paint. you could make a “fabric” mosaic on the top. or, cut the magazine pics up and make a mosaic.
